Nappa
Nappa leather is soft and smooth, so it's important to clean it gently. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt and dust. For deeper cleaning, use a mild leather cleaner, applying it with a soft sponge. Avoid using too much water, as it can damage the leather. After cleaning, apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent it from drying out.
Suede
Suede requires specialcaredue to its delicate texture. Use a suede brush to remove dirt and restore the nap (the fuzzy surface). For stains, use a suede eraser or a dedicated suede cleaner. Avoid water, as it can leave marks. If your shoes get wet, let them air dry naturally, away from direct heat, and then brush them to revive the texture.
Vernice
Patent leather is known for its glossy finish. To keep it shiny, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or smudges. For stubborn marks, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol or patent leather cleaner on a cloth. Be sure to store patent leather shoes in a dust bag to prevent scuffing and avoid exposure to heat, which can cause the material to crack.
Laminato
Laminato leather has a metallic or shiny finish, making it prone to scratches. Clean it with a soft, damp cloth, and avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. If necessary, use a specialized cleaner designed for metallic leathers. Store laminato shoes in a cool, dry place and protect them from sharp objects that could scratch the surface.
Velvet
Velvet shoes require delicate handling. Use a soft brush or a velvet-specific brush to gently remove dust and dirt, brushing in the direction of the fabric’s nap. Avoid water, as it can damage the texture. If they get wet, let them dry naturally, away from direct heat, and then brush the nap back into place. Store velvet shoes in dust bags to protect them from dust and dirt.
Cavallino
Cavallino, or pony hair leather, is a unique material that needs gentlecare. Use a soft brush to remove dirt and maintain the direction of the hair. For stains, lightly dab with a damp cloth—never rub, as this can damage the hair. Avoid getting the material wet, and if it does happen, let it air dry naturally. Store cavalino shoes away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Glitter
Glitter leather adds a touch of sparkle to your shoes, but it requires gentlecareto preserve its shine. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to carefully wipe away any dirt or dust. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals, as they can loosen the glitter and damage the adhesive. If deeper cleaning is needed, gently use a soft brush to remove dirt without disturbing the glitter. Store glitter leather shoes in dust bags to protect them from scratches and scuffing, and avoid excessive friction, which can cause the glitter to wear off over time.
